1986 – Acquired Rameshwara Jute Mills in Bihar and started manufacturing jute
1987 – Acquired a tea estate in Assam and started production of Tea; this was the start of Manabarrie Pvt. Ltd.
1989 – Created a construction division within Winsome under which 8 buildings were constructed in Kolkata
1992 – Acquired sugar mills in Karnataka
1995 – Founded The Address, an interior design firm as well as a showroom
1992 – Acquired a hotel in Goa and built the brand name – Whispering Palms; this was the start of Whispering Resorts Pvt. Ltd.
2002 – Started Lemon Tree Hotels
2014 – Acquired the Beauty business
2018 - Acquired two premium tea Estate in Darjeeling to enter this market - Jungpana & Goomtee
